Hi, I’m Je' Von Ikner

I’m a men’s coach who helps high-achieving men in their 40s break free from burnout, reconnect to purpose, and lead from grounded power - all while creating sustainable, optimal fitness and health.

But I didn’t get here by coasting—I got here by crashing.

A few years ago, I looked successful on the outside but was silently falling apart. I burned out, numbed out, and nearly lost myself in the process. That breakdown became the turning point that changed everything.

  • I help high-performing men in their 40s break free from burnout, reconnect to their purpose, and live with optimal health, grounded power and integrity.

    But I didn’t learn this from a book—I lived it.

    In 2018, my life looked solid from the outside: new marriage, new baby, successful career. But behind the scenes, I was unraveling. My mother had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Our dog died. I was walking away from a career that had given me community and identity. And I told no one—not even my wife—what I was going through.

    I believed that needing support made me weak. So I bottled it up and coped the only ways I knew how:

    • Drinking every day

    • Numbing with kratom

    • Overtraining to punish myself

    • Avoiding grief

    • Overworking

    • Burning out my nervous system

    • Hiring coaches hoping they’d “save” me

    I was a health professional whose health was collapsing. My energy was shot. I couldn’t sleep. My lymphatic system was sluggish. I was exhausted, ashamed, and completely disconnected from who I was.

    That rock bottom was my wake-up call.

    From that place, I zoomed out and asked the hard question:
    “Who am I being—and is this how I want to show up for my wife, my son, my purpose, and myself?”

    That question changed everything.

    I made a decision to stop outsourcing my power. I got honest about my patterns. I stopped performing and started healing. I rebuilt my body, my energy, my marriage, and my mission—from the inside out.

    That journey became The Rooted Man—the coaching experience I now guide men through.

    I created this work for men like you: grounded achievers who’ve hit success but still feel like something’s missing. Men who are tired of numbing, tired of pretending, and ready to reclaim their health, their clarity, and their truth.

    As a Chek Holistic Lifestyle Coach, yoga teacher, and personal trainer with a decade of experience—and more importantly, as a man who’s been to the edge and climbed his way back—I offer a real, embodied path forward.
